A great way to cool your body is by getting a lot of foods that can help you cool down and hydrated during summer. You need the right amount of proteins, calories, and carbs. Avoiding spicy foods is good. Eating spicy foods make you sweat and also make your body hot. Turning up the Air Condition will not help you. We can cool our body by eating right. Here are some healthy foods that will help you remain cool and hydrated, even when the heat goes up.
1. Coconut water
Coconut water is the juice that is found inside the coconut when cracked open. Coconut water is loaded with electrolytes, sugars, vitamins. It hydrates and replenishes our body, keeping the body's fluid levels balanced. Adding mint leaves and lime to the coconut water is a simple way to enjoy this drink. It should be stored in the refrigerator immediately because it spoils easily.
2. Watermelon
Watermelon is a good source of vitamins A and C, it is also made up of 90 percent water, which keeps the body well-hydrated in the heat of summer. Furthermore, because it has relatively low fiber content, you can eat many without resulting in stomach ache.
3. Cucumber
Whoever said the phrase “cool as a cucumber” was definitely right. Cucumbers area high-water food, being fresh and its crunchy taste makes it a perfect summer food to eat. This awesome water-filled food gives you low calories so it’s very healthy. It is also a great source of fiber that prevents constipation and that in the long run, prevents additional accumulation of body heat.
4. Apples
At 80 percent water, an apple is a perfect fruit to take in when having fun under the sun. Apples can work wonderful things for your body, from your teeth, to your gut, to your lately motivated feet. Fresh apple are a great source of fiber.
5. Mangoes and Papayas
Mangoes and papayas are excellent foods to take during summer time. Ripe mangoes are full of vitamin c, beta-carotene and fiber. In fact, just a half mango has over 100 percent of the suggested intake of vitamin A for a day. Papaya is another wealthy source of beta-carotene, vitamin C and fiber, and also contains folic acid and potassium.
